Safe kayaking
At Ezy Kayaks we take our safety seriously. Please read the guidelines for safe kayaking and kayaking with children (PDF 482kb- click here).
All adults (over 18 years of age) need to read and sign our Indemnity Form on behalf of the children in their care and for themselves.
All children under 12 need adult supervision.
Kayak Guides
Ezy kayaks Hawks Nest staff are qualified Flatwater Kayak Guides certified by Paddle Australia. Our Guides have been assessed and are qualified to operate on inland waters such as open lakes and rivers in controlled conditions for inland kayaking and canoeing. We provide basic instruction before you set off on either a self guide or guided tour. All staff have a Working With Children Check (WWCC).
First aid
Ezy Kayaks Hawks Nest Guides hold a current state government regulating body approved first aid and CPR qualification. |
Weather
Ezy kayaks Hawks Nest will conduct a risk analysis of the kayaking area prior to each activity to determine whether the area/weather is suitable for the number of kayaks and skills of participants.
Kayaking Area
Ezy Kayaks kayaking is restricted to the Myall River area no further south than the river mouth at Corrie Island – Ask our staff if you do not know where this is.

Ezy Kayaks will only use any personal data collected during your booking process in accordance with the National Privacy Principles established under the Privacy Act 1988 and our Privacy Policy. The information provided by you during the booking is only used for the purposes of fulfilling your requests for our products, providing a personalised service, maintaining accounts and records and ensuring safety or in case of an emergency. |
