Kayak Hire

Too ezy - this is a popular option for a self guided kayak on the magnificant Myall River at your own pace. We are located in Hawks Nest, just over the singing bridge from Tea Gardens on the north side of Port Stephens, only a 2.5 hour drive from Sydney and close to the Great Lakes National Park.

Suitable for beginners, fun for adults and children. Perfect when you are looking for adventures and things to do in the Hawks Nest and Tea Gardens area. We make it ezy for you to enjoy the Myall River. You can paddle into mangroves around islands, see historical shipwrecks and may even do a bit of dolphin watching.

Call us to book your kayaks. Bookings are advisable to avoid disappointment. Single and double sit-on-top kayaks are available. Meet us at our launch site in Hawks Nest on Moira Parade (corner of Yamba Street). We'll have your kayaks ready for you. It's just a short walk from the Hawks Nest shops. Parking available. Public toilets and BBQ area are just beside us.

What does Ezykayaks supply?
Kayak, paddle, backrest and life jacket (PFD2 – Australian standard), safety briefing plus basic instruction.

What you need to bring/wear:
Hat, water, sun cream, sun glasses, T-shirt (ideally long sleeve) or rashie. Additional layers for cool / windy days, comfortable shorts, footwear that can get wet. A dry change of clothes / towel. No storage available, so please bring only essential items.

Stand-up Paddle Board hire...

We providing Australia's fastest growing water sport - Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUP Boards). It's great to promote core strength and overall fitness. It's easier than it looks so why not give it a try?

Paddle board for an hour or the whole day - it's up to you. Suitable for both adults and children. We use nice wide boards that will have you standing in no time. Combine this with our launch area on the Myall River which has a safe, shallow, sandy bottom that is perfect for learning on our boards. There is a small beach which provides shady trees and is a great spot for Mum and Dad to watch the kids have fun in the water.

NSW Recreational Fishing Licences are mandatory (you must carry a receipt showing the payment of the fee) - available at Hawks Nest Newsagent ($6 - 3 days) and the NSW Maritime Office Marine Drive or purchase online.
